What a busy summer we have all had, with road trips, vacations, and of course mission work.  With all our hard work we have a fun day planned for the members of the youth group. Jim and Hillary Myers have generously, and courageously, offered to host a Youth Group Pool Party on Sunday, Sept 6th. After we all finish up at the 10:30 service, we would like to see everyone there, we will head directly to the Myers for swimming games and lunch.  We will email youth group members and parents on what we need for food and supplies.  During this pool party we will also be holding a youth group meeting to discuss our agenda for the next several months, youth members please come with some ideas as to activities, and fundraisers for the fall and winter months.

The youth group has started off 2014 with a bang!

The youth in the program have been very busy this month. They had a very successful Chili luncheon that raised $307.00 for July’s mission trip. We currently have 15 youth that want to be a part of the mission trip so look for some great fundraisers coming up that will help to send these amazing individuals out into the community.

The youth group just did a visit at Kirkwood Corners in Lee where they spent time playing games and doing puzzles with Seniors. The annual Super Bowl sub sale is in full swing and they have already pre-sold 30 subs.

Feb. 2nd from 8am-1pm : Super Bowl Sub Sale

Feb. 15th from 2pm-8pm : Lasagna Church Supper

Feb. 23rd from noon-4pm : Lunch and Pottery painting at Doodlebugs in Rollinsford Cost is $15-$20

2014 Mission Trip

July 13th to July 19th our Junior and Senior high students will be venturing to Litchfield, NH to participate in an off site work camp. WorkcampNE’s mission is to “create an environment to deepen student’s faith as they live out the gospel message through tangible service. We serve the local community by assisting those who are elderly, underresourced or disabled with minor home repairs at NO COST to the resident including materials and labor. They instill the principle of servant leadership with the purpose of teaching adults and students alike, the importance of teamwork and values-based leadership.”
