September 2014

Dearest Friends in Christ,

The feel of fall is in the air and the church is looking forward to a new Sunday School year and all of our usual autumn activities.  As I write this, the Lee Hill Early Learning Center has reopened following a summer hiatus, and the shouts and laughter of the children are filling my office with joyous sound.

We have some new personnel who have joined our staff over the summer – and I am sure that the CE Committee and Music Committee will have information to share with you.  I am very excited to be working with Jill Paré as the new CE Director.  She brings great energy, as well as an existing relationship with the church, and both will be significant assets to our programming.  I look forward to the gifts that Jill will bring to us all.  Additionally, Andrew Lefoley will come on board as accompanist for the Praise Team and Senior Choir.  He has provided much of the accompaniment over the summer months, and we have been blessed by his musical gifts.  I look forward to having him with us as the months go on.  Andrew will be a sophomore at UNH, studying piano performance.  Last, but certainly not the least, is our new junior and senior bell director, Jane Goodwin.  Jane brings vast knowledge and experience to the church and these choirs, and we are fortunate indeed that she has chosen to share them with us.

So we will welcome some new faces and familiar faces in September.  Together we will discover what God will choose to reveal and create among us and through us.  This is God’s church, and God’s ministry in which we are honored to participate, and I look forward to continuing the journey that we share.

Blessings,

Pastor Gail
