Hello From the Choirs! Dec 2014

posted Aug 19, 2015, 10:47 AM by Henry McTague

I love this busy time of year.  I had so much fun at the Music Ministry Jubilee.  It was wonderful hearing two groups from the community, the Easy River Band and the Giffith Family Man Band, share their talents.  I also really enjoyed hearing Andrew play, Julie sing, hearing the bell choirs, and letting our Senior and Junior Choir cut loose on some of their favorite pieces.  I had fun singing my solos too!  I appreciate everyone who came out to support the music committee in this truly enjoyable fundraiser.  I can’t wait to do it again!

In Senior Choir, we look forward to singing some of our favorite songs during Advent.  We also enjoy the fellowship time at Gail’s open house and the Hollinger’s annual choir gathering.  It is always fun to sing along at the Living Nativity, which will be on December 14th at 1:30.  I hope the weather will hold this year!  This month Junior Choir will be singing at the first service on December 7th, and of course on Christmas Eve, when we will be doing a piece together with the Junior Bells.  Jane and I also worked together to pick a new Christmas Anthem for Senior Bells and Senior Choir that we can’t wait to share with you.

If you have any questions about Junior or Senior Choir don’t hesitate to email me at roxanneleeoconnor at gmail dot com.  I hope you have a peaceful Christmas season!
