Mission Notes (September 2010)

posted Dec 18, 2014, 12:44 PM by Henry McTague
The members of the Missions Committee are already looking at a number ways we can make a difference in the lives of others. Ongoing is our outreach to UNH students through Waysmeet. Once again we will be baking cookies and making soup for students gathering at Waysmeet for a variety of spiritual and educational events. We supply soup and cookies twice a month. Our first drop off is Wednesday, September 8th. If you can help with this ministry there is a sign-up sheet on the Missions Bulletin Board.

Our focus on hunger continues through a Crop Walk on October 16th. Get pledges and join your friends for an easy walk through Lee’s rural countryside. You will hear more about this opportunity through the Sunday bulletin and Missions bulletin board. There are also opportunities to walk “on line” and support this worthy event.

The Missions committee welcomes input from the congregation. Our Chair is John Brothwell. Submitted by – Sally Barney, Secretary
