from Christian Education!

There were so many wonderful moments with our church youth during December.   I hope you had the chance to witness some of them.

Our 5 graders served Communion to both of our services after preparing the elements and discussing the important details of this sacred tradition in Pastor Gail’s class.  We are very proud of how well each of those students honored the sacrament with the congregation.

Thanks to hours of mixing and baking by Judy Belanger and our youth group, our Sunday school students constructed 36 cookie nativities during class in the 2nd week of Advent.  We had a fabulous time decorating very creative nativity scenes that morning.

We brought our treasured story of the first Christmas to life with more than 30 youth, countless helpful adults, 10 local animals, and the true spirit of God’s gifts with our Living Nativity under the sunshine of a magical afternoon.  CE is honored to continue to make this pageant a special memory in all of our hearts each year.

Upcoming Youth Group events:

Swimming at YMCA

Chili Lunch

Superbowl Sub Sales for Sunday, February 1
