Fall has come upon us with the cool mornings and evenings. God has started to paint the trees with his many colors and the crisp air brings the excitement of another season. A time to enjoy apple picking, pumpkin carving and fall fairs with family and friends. Take some time to enjoy the season with your family.

Sunday school:

Sunday school started on Sunday, September 12, 2010. It was exciting to see all the children returning for a new year of Sunday school. If you have not yet registered your child, it is not too late. You can register them all year long. We do need a new registration form for each child in nursery through 12th grade. Thank you for all of you who made sure to complete forms the first Sunday. I really appreciate it.

Sunday school reminders:

1. Holding Sunday school every Sunday of the month.

First Sunday of the month, the 3rd through 12th grade children will start in their classrooms and return to church for Communion.

Secret Pals:

The reveal will be held between on October 3rd at 9:30 AM. I can’t wait to see everyone’s face as they meet each other during the reveal.

Communion Class:

Communion class will be held again this fall for 5th graders. The classes will be during the first service on October 24th and 31st. The children will make the elements with Pastor Gail and myself on Saturday, November 6th and will help serve communion on Sunday, November 7th. If you do not receive a letter regarding Communion class and would like your child to participate, please let me know.

Youth Group:

Youth Group will have their kick off on October 10th at the Banks house with a bon fire and corn maze. All of the youth in 6th-12th grades are encouraged to participate and bring your friends. Any questions regarding youth group, see any of the youth leaders; Michelle Rhoads, Kristi Atherton or Stephanie Boucher

In God’s love,
